BLOG 7: CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

One of the first things I would change about the career I'm coursing it's the academic charge in the first year. Journalism it's mostly a practical career, so in my opinion, it should have courses of induction in those areas and remove the necessity of lectures in some courses, most of all in courses of basic formation.
This courses of basic formation are bound to the sociology area, so are frequently more stressful than the journalism bound courses, so I would change the value of the credits in this courses.
Refering to the continuity of the courses, I think they are well raised by the curricular academics, because it would be ilogical take a reportage course without previously completed the reporting course. So it's clear that one has to have basic notions about a study to keep taking it.
Talking about the infraestructure, I haven't being in the institute too much time because of the pandemic, so there's nothing in particular I would change, however I admire the space that it creates in there for the young people.
The use of technologies in the career it's very important, because it's constantly making courses related to them and it boost our habilities in different ways. So I would make those same courses but centered in the students tastes.
Finally, about the teaching methods, I would make them more didactic, because that could make it easier to study and also relaxing. Also, journalism it's a very versatile career, so should be less static.

BLOG 6: TIME TRAVEL TO THE FUTURE

 Bullileo in the year 2051

Embalse Bullileo it's a dam located near the basin of the Río Maule. I used to travel there every summer with my family, so this would be the perfect place to visit in the future, especially to know how the global warming could affect it. Bullileo it's actually a beautiful place, full of trees, quiet and relaxing. It's a rural place, isolated from the city and where very few people live.
I would like to travel there 30 years in the future, because I think it's the best year to know how much has changed by the time (especially with the effects of climate change and human activities).
If the dam stills just like I remember, I would like to stay there, because it's a very important place to me, more than anything because of the nostalgia. But if there were many cutted trees and the level of the water is significantly low, I wouldn't like to stay because it would make me sad. At the same time, I wouldn't like that the homes of the people who live there could be sold to private interests.
Definitely, the only way for me to still there in the future it's that Bullileo remains the exact same way it is now, guaranteeing its environmental protection.

BLOG 5: MY FUTURE JOB

I would like to be clear about the job I hope to have in the future, however I do not know it and it gives me a lot of anxiety just thinking about it. It would be a dream for me to learn foreign languages and work in something related to that, or maybe study literature and write a book and if I keep fantasizing maybe I see myself being a reporter traveling through many countries.

I hope I don't have to limit myself to static places, but rather be able to be in different locations or go out to take pictures. I consider that office work would not be for me, I do not like monotony and even less have such a rigid routine.

For now I'm studying journalism, but I still don't know if it's something that I'm really passionate about. I really like the area of communications and information, but I don't know if it would fit in an environment based on immediacy like most communication agencies are. I love the area of public speaking, but I can't think of something specific in which to perform, I would very much like to go to another country and study something there, apart from learning its culture. An idea that I have been contemplating for many years is living outside of Chile and pursuing my career abroad.

BLOG 4: MY PETS

I currently have four pets, two dogs, and 2 cats. Most of them are from families that have moved out of the area where I live and have been abandoned. The only one who has not gone through that is my cat, six years ago his mother left him newborn in our yard and from there we began to take care of him.

Regarding my dogs, I could say that they were malnourished when we adopted them, apart from having signs of having been mistreated. The good thing is that today they are very happy and affectionate with us.

My cats are very different from each other, my cat is 9 years old and she likes to go out a lot. She is a bit elusive but she gets loved at times. My cat is the opposite, he is very affectionate, he always sleeps in my mother's room or in mine.

My pets are very important to me since they are always with me when I am not feeling well, for example my cats accompany me all day when I am sick and when I am not they go to my bedroom and cry.

BLOG 3: CHILDHOOD SERIES

When I was little I wasn´t very enthusiastic about watching television and to be honest I don't remember why. However, it was very common for me to watch the same old animated shows. The Fairly OddParents was my favorite series, I loved it and dreamed of having my own magical godparents, on the other hand it was also annoying that at school they sang me the song of Vicky, Timmy's babysitter. I remember that I was sorry because her character was bad and I did not feel similar to her so I didn´t like being compared, over time I understood that I was being very exaggerated and they only sang it to me because we called each other the same. One of my favorite chapters is when Timmy travels through various channels and appears as a character in different programs, apart from being interactive it was very new and lasted longer than most of the episodes.

My favorite character was Cosmo, mostly because I felt we had characteristics in common. He was clumsy, but he always had an interest in helping and doing his best even if it didn't go well.

BLOG 2: THE BEST CONCERT EVER

My favorite Chilean band is De Saloon. In 2017 they went to the Parral's gym where we went to see them with my best friends. The band has its origins in Concepción and is currently made up of four members.

At the beginning of the concert there were quite a few people in the gallery, shouting and chanting the songs. At one point the band asked to open the court so that we could all be next to the stage, obviously it was very exciting and we all ran to be as far ahead as possible. We really enjoyed it because they sang their most emblematic songs and were very close with the audience.

When they finished their show, the drummer threw a gift and I caught it, sadly a girl stole it from my hands, I guess she was more of a fan than me.

Next week I will have the opportunity to see them live again, being their first massive show after the pandemic, they will sing their new songs so I am no longer excited. The atmosphere that is generated is incredible.

BLOG 1: COUNTRY YOU WOULD LIKE TO VISIT

Since a few years ago I really want to travel to Croatia, I don't really have an exact reason why. At the age of 15 I saw a documentary about the country and I was impressed, since that day no one has taken the idea of traveling there one day out of my head.

I don't know much about their culture, but I have done some research on their language, the currency they use, and their geography. I would love to travel around the country for about a month and see if I like the atmosphere. If that were the case, I would love to leave Chile to live there, apart from the fact that in Europe the trips between countries are not so expensive, it would also allow me to meet new places together with their cultures.
